Voice and Call Settings

Choose how your agent sounds and how it behaves on a call.

Choose how your agent sounds and how it behaves on a call.

Steps

Start with an agent

Every calling agent has two sets of controls worth knowing — how it sounds, and how it behaves once the call connects.

How it sounds

Open Voice Selection. This is the voice every caller hears, so it's worth spending a minute on.

Preview before you pick

Filter by language or gender, preview any voice, and star the ones you like so they're waiting for you next time.

Choose one

Clicking a voice selects it. You can change it later without rebuilding the agent.

How it behaves

Call Settings is where you tune the call itself. It opens as a short wizard, one topic per step.

Model and language

The first step sets the underlying model and the language the agent speaks. The recommended model supports every feature; the faster one trades some of them for lower latency.

Pacing and turn-taking

Behavior controls how the agent handles interruptions, how long a call can run, and how much it improvises versus sticking to your instructions.

How the line sounds

Audio adds an optional background track, filters out noise, and decides whether the call is recorded.

When a machine answers

Voicemail decides what happens when a machine picks up — hang up, leave a message, or carry on as though someone answered.

Back to the form

Close the wizard when you're done. Nothing here saves on its own — it saves when you save the agent.
