Creating a Chatbot

Set up a text chatbot widget for your website.

Steps

A chatbot is a text-chat widget you embed on your website. Let's create one. Open the Create Agent menu.

Choose Chatbot to build a website chat widget.

The chatbot is set up across a few tabs. On Identity, start with a name.

Set the title and greeting your visitors see at the top of the chat window.

On the Routing tab, connect the chatbot to a pathway — that's the conversation flow it follows. This one is required.

The Appearance tab lets you match the widget to your brand — template, colors, and fonts.

On the Bubble tab, choose the launcher icon and where it sits on the page.

Click Create Chatbot. After it's created, you'll get an embed snippet to paste into your site.
