Creating an Outbound Agent

Set up an AI agent that makes outbound calls.

Steps

An outbound agent makes calls for you — sales outreach, follow-ups, reminders. Let's build one. From My Agents, open the Create Agent menu.

Choose Outbound to create a calling agent.

You can start from scratch, copy an existing agent, use a template, or let AI draft one. We'll start from scratch.

Give the agent a name so you can find it later.

Open the Voice Selection section and pick the voice your agent will use. You can preview each one, then click to select it.

Open the Prompt section. First, set the first sentence — the greeting your agent opens every call with.

Then, in the prompt, describe the agent's goal and how it should behave. This is the brain of your agent.

Under Phone Numbers, choose which of your numbers this agent dials out from.

Call Settings let you tune the model, language, speaking speed, and more.

When everything looks good, click Create Agent — and your outbound agent is ready to start calling.
