Registering for Calls and Messaging

Get your business registered so your calls connect and your texts send.

Get your business registered so your calls connect and your texts send.

Steps

Compliance

Carriers want to know who's behind a number before they'll deliver your calls and texts reliably. Compliance is where you tell them.

One card per registration

The overview shows every registration type and where each one stands. Green across the board is the goal.

Start with who you are

Everything hangs off the Customer Profile — your legal business details. Nothing else can be approved until this one is.

Proving the call is really you

This one signs your outbound calls so the receiving carrier can verify they genuinely came from you. It's what stops your number showing up as Spam Likely.

Your name on the screen

CNAM is the name people see when you call. Registering it turns an unknown number into your business name.

Registering for texting

If you're sending messages, A2P registration is required. Without it, carriers will quietly drop your texts rather than deliver them.

Tying it to your numbers

Finally, Number Assignments connects each registration to the numbers it covers. A registered business with unassigned numbers still gets filtered.

It takes a few days

Approvals come back from the carriers, not from us, so they take days rather than minutes. Submit these before you need them.
