Forwarding Calls

Send calls that arrive on one number straight to another line.

Send calls that arrive on one number straight to another line.

Steps

Forwarding

Sometimes a number shouldn't be answered by an agent at all — it should ring a person. Forwarding does that.

Your rules

Each rule is one number forwarding to one destination. If the list is empty, nothing is being redirected.

Adding one

Add Forward Rule asks two things: which number, and where it should go.

Which number forwards

Pick the source number. One thing to know: numbers already attached to an inbound agent don't appear here — a number can be answered by an agent or forwarded, not both.

Where calls go

Then the destination — any phone number, in full international format. A mobile, a desk phone, or another line entirely.

Save the rule

Save, and the next call to that number rings through to the destination instead. Remove the rule and it goes back to normal.
