Phone Numbers
Phone Numbers is where your calling and texting actually connects to the outside world. There's a lot here, so let's walk the tabs.
Start here
Authentication comes first. You bring your own carrier account, and everything else on this page works through it.
Getting a number
Purchase Numbers searches for available numbers by area code and buys them.
What you own
My Numbers lists everything you own and which agent each one is attached to.
Registration
Compliance is the paperwork that keeps your calls from being flagged as spam and lets you send messages at volume.
Routing calls on
Forwarding routes incoming calls from one of your numbers to another line.
Spreading calls out
Dialing Pools groups the numbers your outbound calls show up from, so no single number carries every call.
The order that works
Connect your carrier, buy a number, get registered, then attach it to an agent. Do it in that order and nothing blocks you.
